Le Petit Restaurant – A little bit of France at the Ventura Harbor
Wendy and Jean-Luc are the ever present owners and operators of Le Petit Cafe which opened in C.I. Harbor in 1997 ten year after meeting in the restaurant industry. “We outgrew our little place almost immediately” so we moved to the Ventura Harbor in late 2000.Jean-Luc and his good friend did the entire construction and re-model in 3 months. Le Petit cafe opened January 20, 2001. Jean-Luc is the Executive and Pastry Chef. Wendy works the front of the house and does all the books.
Everything is made on premises with only the freshest and finest ingredients. Breakfast is served from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on weekends only. The omelets and quiche are delicious. There’s a bakery and espresso bar where all the European pastries, cookies and baked goodies are displayed (all made by chef Jean-Luc)
The lunch and dinner menus are a perfect mix of French and California cuisine with loads of seafood!
Together Wendy, Jean-Luc and their gracious staff are a great team. So come on down to the harbor and check it out. You don’t want to miss this EXPERIENCE. Also: there are many patio tables around the fountain with great harbor views and a full bar!
We’re open 6 days a week. Closed Monday.
We’re open 7 days a week from Memorial day to Labor day including Monday.
Breakfast: starts at 9am (weekends only)
Lunch: starts at 11am
Dinner: starts at 5pm (Reservation for Dinner STRONGLY suggested)
